EMS
The Environmental Management Systems (EMS) certification scheme is based on the AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 certification standard. The scheme assists organisations to minimise the harmful effects of their activities on the environment, meet legal environmental requirements, and to achieve continual improvement of their environmental performance.
ACCREDITATION/CERTIFICATION
The certification and accreditation function will provide all businesses with the rights to work under Green Tree Traders Logo. (Reg-Trademark). All members will be able to display the Green Friendly Logo on their business and personal products and will be able to advertise on the GTT website which will help to promote and grow their business.
CERTIFICATION
Certification is “third party attestation related to products, processes, systems or persons.” (ISO/ IEC 17000:2004)
ACCREDITATION
Accreditation is an endorsement of a conformity assessment body’s (CAB’s) competence, credibility, independence and integrity in carrying out its conformity assessment activities.
All SME on completion of Accreditation and Certification will be able to join the GREENTREES program.
SME will be categorized into their business disciplines; (ie electricians, plumbers, transport, nurses etc)
To bring regrowth back to the cities and promote the growth of trees within schools, workplaces and town centres.
To repair the damage on decimated rainforest areas to allow the return of birds and wildlife to their native forests.
We will grow and harvest trees for timber products. This will reduce the environmental impact of logging native forests.
